Community Survey Results
Monroe Community Coalition conducts an Annual Community Survey of adult perceptions and attitudes related to the behavioral and mental health issues facing local youth.
Results from the survey indicate that people who live in and/or work in Monroe most concerned about the mental health challenges facing our young people. In fact, this is the second year in a row that mental health has been the primary concern adults have for our young people. Marijuana and Alcohol use remain at number two and three, respectively.
The Coalition uses the Annual Community Survey to guide our planning efforts, inform local leaders and policy makers, and to appropriately direct our resources. Data from the survey is included in grant applications, our data based strategic plan, in community presentations and is reflected in our awareness strategies.
